Francesc “Cesc” Fàbregas i Soler was born 4 May 1987 is a Spanish footballer that plays as central midfielder for the Spanish national side as well as the Premier League side, Arsenal. Great passer of the ball, great techniques and with some great awareness he can dictate the pace of a game and create opportunities for his team mates. However he can sometime be a bit lightweight and in some situation a lack of pace can be evident.

Fàbregas was born in Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona, Catalonia
His mother name was Núria Soler and is the owner of a pastry company while his father’s name is Francesc Fàbregas, Sr.
He became Arsenal’s youngest ever first team player, at the age of 16 years and 177 days.
He also became became the youngest goalscorer in Arsenal’s history by scoring in a 5–1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in September 2004.
On 24 November 2008, Fàbregas was named as the new club captain.
At the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship held in Finland, he finished top scorer of the tournament.
Fabregas was named the Golden Player of the tournament at the 2004 UEFA U-17 European Championship, where Spain also finished runners-up.
Fàbregas also became the youngest player in Spanish football history to participate in a World Cup against Ukraine on 13 June 2006; he was then 19 years and 41 days old.
Fàbregas set up the extra-time winner for Iniesta to allow Spain to win the World Cup in 2010.
